Not only are Ford trucks built Ford Tough, installing aftermarket radios in them is even tougher if you’re not using Metra’s part number 99-5830B. Designed for the 2013 and up Ford F-150 with the 4.3” screen without Ford’s MyTouch, the 99-5830B will accommodate either Single or Double Din radios. Painted a scratch resistant Matte Black, the kit also features integrated soft touch buttons. The included display retains all factory climate control functions. The factory 4.3” screen is also retained for factory SYNC information as well as driver information menus.

Use either of the Axxess Auto Detect interfaces, AX-ADBOX1 if you want to retain fader function, or AX-ADBOX2 if not along with the AX-ADFD02 harness. The ASWC-1 also from Axxess will give you a quick and easy option to retain steering wheel controls. Finally, you’ll need the 40-EU10 antenna adaptor to complete the installation.
