The Brand Significantly Expands its Product Line for Commercial Fleet Vehicles and Large Applications
Holly Hill, FL - October 2017 – iBeam Vehicle Safety Systems®, a brand by Metra Electronics, is introducing a wide range of solutions for larger vehicles and commercial applications at the 2017 SEMA Show in Las Vegas from October 31 - November 3. Among the numerous new products, there will be seven new heavy duty cameras, third brake light backup cameras, a wireless video and receiver kit along with iBeam’s Commercial Pro Series. All of iBeam’s new products will be at Metra’s main booth #11639 in the North Hall. Products specifically for the off-road, powersports and truck accessories market will be on display at booth #35227 in the South Hall. A three year warranty is included with all iBeam products.
Wide Angle, Heavy Duty, Night Vision Cameras
Commercial drivers will have visibility in all conditions with iBeam’s new line of heavy duty, wide angle, night vision cameras. CMOS cameras provide a 120 degree viewing angle with 0 lux night vision IR LEDs. Rugged, high quality housing is rated IP69K. These cameras are functional with up to 100 feet of extension cable and have a 4-Pin DIN connector. Options include a built-in microphone (TE-CCM), white dome-style housing (TE-CCD), a metal hood (TE-CCH), and an integrated visor (TE-CCV). For larger profile vehicles, the TE-CCDL provides a dual lens camera that can be adjusted independently to see everything behind the vehicle.To see what’s in the next lane, a side-view camera option (TE-CCS) is available and to capture what’s below, the flyfish camera (TE-CCF) provides a great solution for commercial vehicles.
Third Brake Light Cameras
iBeam’s third brake light cameras are designed to look just like the OEM factory lights, available for popular commercial vehicle-specific sizes, or a universal model. With a CMOS camera, 170 degree viewing angle, live audio feed, and built-in LED night vision, these cameras provide a clear representation of all activity directly behind the vehicle under any conditions. Defeatable parking lines allow drivers to maneuver their vehicle with confidence. Camera can adjust up or down for optimal camera angle. Includes all necessary cables for installation, with a 4-Pin DIN to RCA adapter as an added bonus.

Heavy Duty Monitor and Wireless Accessories
iBeam’s 7 inch color monitor with 4-channel input (TE-7VS-4) provides a complete view of camera feeds, with multiple layout options and a remote control. It is compatible with the TE-WTR wireless camera kit and has a 4-Pin DIN connection. An ideal solution on larger vehicles, when multiple camera feeds are needed. The wired to wireless universal video transmitter and receiver kit (TE-WTR) displays camera feeds on any vehicle’s LCD display monitor through a 2.4GHz wireless connection and has a 200 meter (656 foot) unobstructed wireless range. Easy setup includes one button pairing. It is compatible with 4-PIN DIN cameras. Additional new accessories include adapters to for RCA or 4-Pin systems and extension cables to provide more reach for installs on extra large trailers.
New Commercial Pro Series
The Commercial Pro Series is iBeam’s higher end option to meet the safety challenges of larger vehicles, trailers, buses, and RVs. A heavy duty wireless camera with a built-in microphone (TE-WPC-M) and 120 degree viewing angle gives drivers visibility in dark or foggy conditions thanks to the 0 lux IR LED night vision and 12 IR LEDs. The camera connects wirelessly via a 3 dB antenna, with 393 feet (120 meters) of unobstructed range. The ⅓” CMOS lens is protected by IP69K rated rugged, high quality metal housing that can stand up to the elements of long-term commercial use.
iBeam’s wireless 4-channel multi-view monitor (TE-4WCM) has a 7 inch color LCD screen and can pair with up to four wireless cameras. It has a powerful 2.4GHz connection and up to a 450 foot (137 meter) wireless range. It can display camera feeds simultaneously or in different layouts, with a remote control and activation trigger for backup cameras.
The Pro Series wireless night vision camera and monitor kit (TE-WMSC) is a complete, universal solution. A 7 inch color LCD screen connects wirelessly with the camera’s built-in 2.4 Ghz WiFi, offering a 450 foot (137 meter) wireless range. The waterproof camera has a 120 degree viewing angle and 0.5 lux IR LED night vision.
The Pro Series DVR (TE-CDVR-9QM) is a 9 inch touchscreen 4-channel monitor with a built-in DVR. The large monitor has 4-Pin DIN inputs to support both audio and video feeds from each camera. It is the ideal solution for eliminating blind spots in commercial vans and large fleet vehicles while recording potentially vital information related to traffic collisions, or other incidents. A simultaneous recording of up to four camera feeds on the DVR can be stored on up to four 256GB microSD cards (sold separately), for ample video storage. The microSD cards are concealed behind a key-locked security door, to prevent tampering with video evidence. Video files can also be backed up via USB and a remote control, bracket mount, and removable visor is included for added convenience.
