Holly Hill, FL –  Axxess Integrate^® by Metra Electronics^®  is introducing two new accessories for their universal AX-DSP-LITE at the 2019 SEMA Show to provide an even more versatile solution for installers. One will allow installers to offer the AX-DSP-LITE for marine and powersports applications that do not have a radio, the other will provide an easier solution for those installing a high-end sound processor or amplifier. Both solutions will be shipping soon.

The AX-DSPL-BT is a Bluetooth^® streaming input that is ideal for applications where a radio isn’t already in place, such as a boat, ATV/UTV, side-by-side, golf cart or other powersports applications. This allows the installer to leave the dashboard in place but still improve the sound system using the AX-DSP-LITE and utilize the AX-DSPL-BT to stream music from a smartphone or other Bluetooth^® enabled device.

The AX-DSPL-SP adds a 2-channel Toslink output from the AX-DSP-LITE that will go into high-end amplifiers or digital signal processors requiring a Toslink input. This solution allows for a cleaner audio signal with more noise rejection and eliminates some of the common issues installers may run into when using an analog signal.

The AX-DSP-LITE was introduced earlier this year at CES as a “Lite” version to provide just the essentials for sound systems that do not need to utilize all of the features in the existing AX-DSP or AX-DSP-X solution. The AX-DSP-LITE still provides Axxess’s cutting-edge technology to retain vehicle functions and works with OEM or aftermarket radios to take six channels of fixed level/digitally controlled analog audio and convert it to six channels of analog signal for use with an aftermarket amplifier or DSP.

While this may be a “Lite” version, it still provides retention of many important vehicle functions. The AX-DSP-LITE features chime control, retains OEM voice prompts and sonar sensors, and has clipping detection and limiting circuits. There are six inputs and six outputs, including front, rear and subwoofer, and the front and rear outputs can be delayed independently up to 10ms. Settings are adjusted via Bluetooth^® in a smart device application (tablet or mobile phone), compatible with both Android^® and Apple^® devices. The existing AX-DSP and AX-DSP-X plug-n-play harnessing will work with AX-DSP-LITE.
